This laboratory is a shared unit between the University Museum and the Department of Biology and is equipped with:



DNA extraction robot (GeneMole)

A room for pre-PCR work, UV radiated every night
A PCR-room with several thermal cyclers (BIO-RAD, Eppendorf, etc.)
A post-PCR room with gel electrophoresis equipment and a UV-gel visualization system
Centrifuges (including a vacuum centrifuge for DNA concentration)
A cloning lab including a LAF bench with UV light
A transgenomic WAVE DHPLC (Denaturing High Pressure Liquid Chromatography) system
Cold rooms (e.g. minus 20) for sample storage
