I am the responsible for the planning and teaching of this course at the University of Bergen. The course is focused the evolution and relationships of the Metazoa phyla (animals) and is structured in 12 double lectures and 12 labs, with a strong emphasis on phylogenetics relationships and comparative anatomy. Students are taught about the latest advances in animal evolution and the labs are a truly hands-on experience where students dissect and illustrate the anatomy and morphology of a large number of animals.
